Design and development of QR code-based interface for Inditech control panel operated Lifts, to operate lift using Android mobile app for enabling touchless lift operations.
Inditech to consider a serial system where COP and LOP devices are connected via Inditech serial communication link.
COP call and LOP the call will be placed from the same mobile application by scanning the QR code.
Landing call and Destination call will be communicated over the remote server via the internet and the fall-back system will take the respective action for moving the lift appropriately.
QR code for LOP –Scanning the ‘landing floor’ and other information.
Android App for scanning QR code and placing the call via a remote server.
Smart Communicator – Internet-based device which establishes communication with the server over the internet and with Inditech control panel over Inditech Serial Link. ‘Smart Communicator’ device will be placed in the Lift Room near the Inditech Control Panel.
Remote server – Collects Landing and Destination calls requests from the android mobile app and forwards this information to the ‘Smart Communicator’ provided by Inditech. The remote server is connected to the Internet with static IP.

Latest QR-Code Technology for Elevator
This solution
is suitable for Inditech serial communication-based installations, new and
existing. QR code will
be put on the LOP, which holds the information about the landing floor and more. Upon scanning
the QR code, the user app will interact with the Server using the internet on his
phone. ‘Smart
Communicator’ interact with Server over the internet and to the ‘Inditech Control
Panel’ over Inditech serial link for placing the landing and destination floor
calls.
User will open
‘Smart Lift’ app. The user will scan
the QR code provided on the LOP. Based on the
captured information from the QR code, the App will collect the inputs for landing and
destination floor call from the user. Upon selecting
the appropriate direction and floor number on the app user will submit the
call. On submitting
the selections made, a mobile app will send message to the ‘Smart Communicator’
which provided by the Inditech, via a remote server. Smart the communicator intern books the ‘landing
floor’ call and keep monitoring the reaching floors, upon reaching to the
desired ‘landing floor’ ‘Smart Communicator’ places the call for desired’
destination floor’.
